I hold a BEd degree for the Compulsory School in the subjects of Mathematics, Science and also for ICT and learning at levels 4 to 9. I also hold a MEd degree in Teaching, Research and Assessment of Quality. I have worked as a primary school teacher and have I been a teacher trainer for teachers in school and student teachers in the field of ICT for learning since 1997. I have worked on a range of projects related to ICT and learning since 2001. I am involved in projects that aim to develop e-learning in higher education at the European level e.g. eLene-Teacher Training (eLene-TT) and UNINET 2. Most of my teaching is focused on higher education and teachers’ professional development in using ICT as a tool for learning in the context of distance education. I am particularly interested of assessment in net-based education. I am also interested in net-based education and collaborative learning supported by technology.
